Teen relationships are touchy things. Girls are often ready for serious commitments within their relationships while boys want something more laid back in their relationship. Of course, this is never a definite scenario either. Teen relationships are just that, unpredictable. If you are in a teen relationship or have a teen in a relationship and are worried about them, you need to understand how things work, so to speak.
Parents want to control each and every aspect of their teen’s life. While they want to do this simply because they want to protect their teen, it is not a good way of teaching your teen about life. Teen relationships should be centered on positives. Being with someone who is a good friend is a good start for most teens. It is important for teens to take the time to listen to their parent’s advice on relationships as well. Teen relationships aren’t meant to last a lifetime.
